Orchard View
Orchard View is in Asterley, Shropshire. It's a detached cottage. We've just done it up. It's got slate and oak floors downstairs which look smart and are easy to clean.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. The bathroom is on the ground floor, which is handy.
The garden is private. It looks out over fields and you can see the Long Mynd from there. It's quiet. You get parking right next to the cottage.
For facilities, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Towels and bedding are included. The heating is electric and that's included too. You're welcome to bring one well-behaved dog.
The village of Pontesbury is about two miles away. That's where you'll find the supermarket, a few shops, and pubs that do food.
You're right on the edge of the Shropshire Hills. Earls Hill and Pontesford Hill are a short drive away for walks. The Long Mynd is just there for longer hikes.
If you want to explore, Shrewsbury is about 20 minutes by car. Good for a wander around the town and some shopping. The Severn Valley Railway is about half an hour's drive. Ironbridge and its museums are also within a 30 minute drive.
