Orchard Barns

Orchard Barns is in Stapleton, in rural Shropshire. It's a detached barn conversion for big groups, sleeps ten across five bedrooms. There are four bathrooms, which helps a lot with that many people.

It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well finished and has everything you'd need. Underfloor heating, a wood burner, that sort of thing. The owner is an artist and has painted murals in each bedroom, which is a nice personal touch.

The kitchen is big, with an island and breakfast bar. The dining table seats ten in the garden room. There's a separate living room with leather sofas and a wood burner. Off the utility room there's a games room with a football table and dart board.

One of the five bedrooms is on the ground floor with its own bathroom, which is useful. The other four are upstairs. Two of the twin rooms can be made up as super king beds if you prefer.

Outside, there's a courtyard at the front and a decent sized lawn at the back with a patio, garden furniture, and a barbecue. There's also a hot tub. The garden is enclosed.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on the drive and an electric vehicle charger. All the bedding and towels are included, and there's a cot and highchair if you need them.

The location is quiet and rural. There are a couple of local pubs within a few miles for a meal. You're about a 20 minute drive from Shrewsbury, which has everything: shops, restaurants, the River Severn. It's a nice historic town to wander around.

For walking, you're right on the edge of the Shropshire Hills AONB. The Long Mynd and Carding Mill Valley are about half an hour's drive and are very popular. For National Trust places, Attingham Park is about 25 minutes away.

If you've got an even bigger group, the barn next door is identical and they can be booked together.
