The Stables Betton Strange

The Stables is a converted barn on our farm in Betton Strange. It's about two miles from the centre of Shrewsbury. It sleeps ten people.

There are five bedrooms and four bathrooms, so that should keep queues down. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. The floors are wood and the beams are exposed. The stairs are original, so they're a bit steep.

The main living area is open plan. Kitchen, dining, and sitting room all together. There's a large table and plenty of seating. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings.

The garden is enclosed. It looks out over the fields. Parking is right there on site.

It's a working farm. If we're around and not too busy, children are welcome to come and see the animals. We also have a farm shop nearby for local produce.

Shrewsbury town is ten minutes away by car. It's got a river, shops, and places to eat. The Shropshire Hills are about half an hour's drive for walking. Erddig and Attingham Park are both within a thirty minute drive if you like National Trust properties.

Facilities: everything is included. Bedding, towels, electricity. There's WiFi and a TV. We can provide a cot and highchair. The property has ground floor facilities and is wheelchair accessible, including a wet room. We accept up to two dogs.
