Cherry Orchard
Cherry Orchard is in Shrewsbury, on a normal terraced street about ten minutes' walk from the town centre. It's not remote. You'll see neighbours and hear a bit of town noise, but you're close to everything.
It’s a modern refurbishment inside. Three bedrooms, each with its own shower room. That’s handy with six people. The main living space is open plan with a kitchen island and big doors that open up to the garden. The garden faces south so it gets the sun.
You’ve got a shop, a pub, and a restaurant all within a few minutes' walk. The town centre has the rest. For walks nearby, Haughmond Hill is good. Further out, the Stiperstones is a proper rugged walk, about a half hour drive.
It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well kitted out and finished to a high standard. All bedding and towels are included. There’s a washing machine, dishwasher, and parking for one car on the driveway. No pets.
If you're looking for day trips, the National Trust's Attingham Park is about twenty minutes away. The Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty website has lots of ideas for outdoors stuff.
