The beautiful nature reserve of Hambleton Hough is right on the doorstep, and the popular town of Selby is just five miles away. The stunning medieval Abbey sits at its very centre and is the birthplace of English kings and home to some stunning stained glass. A little further afield is the historic walled City of York which offers world renowned attractions including Jorvik, The Castle Museum and the National Railway Museum.
