The Granary
The Granary is in Poulton le Fylde. It's a converted building, so the rooms are a good size inside. It's set back from the road.
It sleeps six, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. That's handy if you've got a few people. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. You can bring one dog.
The kitchen has what you'd need. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on site.
Poulton itself has shops, cafes, and a few pubs. It's a proper market town. You can walk to the train station from the cottage, which is useful. The trains go to Blackpool one way and Preston the other. Blackpool is about twenty minutes by car or train if you fancy the lights or the beach.
For walking, the Wyre Estuary country park is close by. The Fylde coast path is good if you want a longer seaside walk without the crowds. There's golf at Poulton-le-Fylde Golf Club just outside town.
If you drive, you can be in the Forest of Bowland in under half an hour. It's good for a proper day out walking. The Forest of Bowland website has maps and routes. Lancaster and its castle are about thirty minutes away too.
