Highfield Cottage is in Hambleton, Lancashire. It's a detached house with a separate studio annex across the courtyard. So it works well for a big group where some people might want a bit of separation. The place sleeps eleven.
There are five bedrooms and five bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have dressing rooms and their own en-suites. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main family bathroom has a spa bath. There's a shower room on the ground floor as well.
The main kitchen is a farmhouse style, big enough for cooking for a crowd. There's a study if you need it. The bar area has a full-size snooker table and a darts board. We provide WiFi.
The gardens are large and you have them to yourselves. There's on-site parking. The property is wheelchair accessible at the entrance.
In the village there's a pub that serves food, a farm shop, a grocery store, and a takeaway. Poulton-le-Fylde market town is close by for more shops and places to eat.
The coast is about fifteen minutes away by car. That gets you to places like Thornton Cleveleys, Fleetwood, and Blackpool. Blackpool has the Tower, the Pleasure Beach, the zoo and so on.
If you want to explore more rural areas, the Forest of Bowland is within an hour's drive. The Ribble Valley is similar. The Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales are also about an hour away. Lancaster city is 16 miles, Preston is 18.
