Highcross is on the edge of Poulton-le-Fylde. It's a terraced house, so you've got neighbours on both sides. There's a small patio garden at the back for sitting out.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are a typical terraced-house stairs, so they're a bit narrow.
You're right in the middle of things here. There's a shop next door, which is handy. A restaurant is about fifty yards away. The nearest pub is a five-minute walk. Poulton town centre is a mile away. It's a proper market town with a nice square, some cafes, and a train station. You can get the train into Blackpool in a few minutes, which is easier than parking.
Blackpool itself is about a seven-minute drive. You've got all the things there: the Pleasure Beach, the Tower, the Sealife Centre. The Illuminations are on in autumn. The beach at Bispham is about three miles away.
If you want a different coast, Fleetwood is ten minutes north. For a quieter day, Lytham St Annes is a short drive south. It's a bit more genteel.
For getting out into the countryside, the Forest of Bowland is about a 40-minute drive. Good for walking. Lancaster and its castle are under half an hour away.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's parking for one car on the drive. Sorry, no pets.
For planning days out, the Visit Blackpool site has all the attraction details.
