The Ascot
The Ascot is in Blackpool, about half a mile back from the main promenade. It's a semi-detached house that sleeps ten. There are six bedrooms and five bathrooms, so most rooms have their own. There's a family suite with two bedrooms sharing a bathroom on a private landing.
It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is clean and well-equipped. It's not overly fancy, but it's practical for a big group. There's private parking for three cars out front.
The back garden is enclosed, which is useful. There's also a games room in there with a pool table and some other things to keep people busy if the weather turns.
You're well placed for everything. The Winter Gardens is a five minute walk. For the Tower, the piers, Sea Life, and all that, it's about ten minutes on foot. The tram stops are close by if you want to go further along the front to the Pleasure Beach or the Sandcastle water park.
Stanley Park is about fifteen minutes' walk. It's a good spot if you want some green space. Has a boating lake, pitch and putt, and Blackpool Zoo is there too.
If you fancied a drive out, Lytham St Annes is down the coast. The Forest of Bowland and the Ribble Valley are about an hour away if you want some countryside. The Lake District is also just over an hour's drive.
Facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. An EV charger is installed. You can bring up to two dogs.
