Coleridge Lodge is a bungalow in Thornton. It's semi-detached. You get a south-facing garden, which is private and gets the sun.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor, with grab rails and a seat. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's all on one level so there are no stairs to worry about.
The place is straightforward. You've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We can take one well-behaved dog.
It's quiet here, but you're not far from things. There's a pub about a 20-minute walk away. Cleveleys Promenade is a little over a mile, maybe a 30-minute walk or a few minutes in the car. That's where you'll find the beach, benches, fish and chips, and the tram stop.
The tram is useful. It goes up to Fleetwood, which is a proper fishing town, and down to Blackpool for the Tower and the Pleasure Beach. You can avoid driving and parking that way.
If you drive, the Forest of Bowland is about half an hour away. It's good for walking. Forest of Bowland has maps and information. The Lake District is further, about an hour.
Other things to know: we provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's an outdoor patio with a BBQ. You can store bicycles.
