Carr End Barn A is over in Stalmine, Lancashire. It used to be a barn. It's semi-detached.
It sleeps ten, in five bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, one is a wet room on the ground floor. The official rating is 5 Star. It's been done up well, it's comfortable.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen, dining, sitting area. There's a wood burning stove for colder nights. The stairs are quite steep, as you'd expect in a barn. Through the utility, there’s a separate games room. It’s a bit of an indulgence, but it’s there if the weather turns.
Outside, there’s a decked patio with a decent view over the fields. There’s a good-sized lawn. The hot tub is private to you. There's a barbecue.
You can bring one dog.
The village is quiet. There's a local pub about half a mile away. The nearest shop is about the same. For a bigger shop, Poulton-le-Fylde is about five miles.
Blackpool is about nine miles away if you fancy the sights. The coast at Thornton Cleveleys is about seven miles, it’s a proper promenade for a walk.
For countryside, the Forest of Bowland is within an hour's drive. It’s good for walking. The Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales are also about an hour away by car.
Facilities: everything’s included – bedding, towels, Wi-Fi, washing machine. There’s a cot and a highchair if needed. Parking on site, and there’s an electric vehicle charger.
