Pointer Cottage is in Stalmine, which is a small village in the Lancashire countryside. It's detached, with its own garden and parking.
The cottage sleeps four. There are three bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms, one on each floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up quite recently, so everything works. There's a wood burner in the living room for colder nights.
The main thing people ask about is the hot tub. It's outside in the garden, under a cover. You can use it anytime. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. We allow up to two.
There's a local pub you can walk to. Poulton-le-Fylde is about five miles away for supermarkets and shops.
For the coast, it's about seven miles to Cleveleys and its promenade. Blackpool is nine miles away if you want the big attractions like the Pleasure Beach or the Tower. Fleetwood is ten miles and has the Freeport shopping.
Inland, the Forest of Bowland is great for walking and it's about a 30 minute drive. The Forest of Bowland website has routes. The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are both around an hour away by car.
Facilities wise, it has pretty much what you'd expect: Wi-Fi, a smart TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's an electric vehicle charger on the drive.
