Briar Cottage is on a quiet lane in Eagland Hill. It's a modern cottage. The owner's caravan site is next door but it's seasonal and quiet. You get your own garden. It's enclosed and looks out over fields.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bathrooms are ensuite. One has a bath, the other a walk-in shower. There's underfloor heating in them. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's a comfortable, well-equipped place.
Inside it's open plan. Kitchen, dining and living area all together. The kitchen has a dishwasher. There's a wood burner in the living area but you can't use it, it's just decorative. The TV is large. The sofa converts into a bed if you need it for an extra person.
Outside there's a private hot tub in the garden. There's a BBQ and an electric vehicle charger on the drive.
It's a countryside spot. For a pub, the Eagle and Child at Wrightington is about two miles. The nearest shop is probably in Eccleston, about three miles.
Blackpool is within half an hour's drive if you fancy that. For something quieter, the Grizedale Forest in the Lake District is just over half an hour away for walks. The Lancashire Wildlife Trust sites are worth a look for local walks. Lancaster and the coast at Morecambe Bay are also about 30 minutes.
Facilities: Washing machine, cot, highchair, WiFi, bedding and towels are included. No pets.
