Holly Barn is in Scorton. It's a barn conversion, so it's all on one level. You walk straight into the main living and kitchen area. There's a separate lounge with a TV.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and each has its own bathroom. One bathroom has a sauna in it. It's a 5 Star property, so it's well finished and comfortable.
Outside, there's a patio area for you and a larger communal garden a few steps away. The whole site has electric gates, so it's secure.
The barn is part of an old farmstead that's Grade 2 listed. The area is good for exploring. You can walk around Nicky Nook from the village, which is about three miles. There are a couple of nice cafes at the end of that walk.
Garstang is close by. It's a market town with shops and pubs. Lancaster is about twenty minutes away if you need a bigger supermarket or want to see the castle.
You're well placed for day trips. The Forest of Bowland is right there. The Yorkshire Dales and the South Lakes are within a 30 minute drive. Morecombe Bay and the promenade at Blackpool are about half an hour south.
The facilities are all there: parking, washing machine, towels and bedding are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
