This is Holly Barn. It's in Scorton, Lancashire. It's a barn conversion, part of a small development of them. It's all on one level, which is handy.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom has a king bed and an en-suite shower room with a sauna. The other has a double bed and there's a separate family bathroom with a bath. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well finished and comfortable.
You get your own patio. There's also a large communal garden across the way, which is shared with the other barns. The whole site has electric gates, so it's secure.
The living space is open plan, with the kitchen and dining area together. There's a separate lounge with a sofa and a Smart TV. The kitchen has good appliances if you want to cook.
You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and parking right outside.
Scorton village is close. There's a good three-mile walk around Nicky Nook from there. It ends near a couple of well-known cafes. There's also a nice cafe and garden centre a short walk away, and a pub called The Priory if you fancy a drink.
Garstang is just down the road. It's a market town with shops, cafes, and a Thursday market. Lancaster isn't far either, with its castle and more places to eat.
You're in a good spot for getting out. The Forest of Bowland is right here. The Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District are both about a 30-minute drive away. Ingleton Falls and the south Lakes attractions, like the safari zoo or the aquarium, are within that range too.
If you head the other way, towards the coast, you can get to Morecambe Bay or up to Arnside and Silverdale. Blackpool is about half an hour south if you want the seaside and all that.
