Curlew Loft Lower Green Bank

Curlew Loft is a one-bedroom place for two people on our farm near Lancaster. It's called Lower Green Bank on the maps. It’s a loft conversion, so it’s up a flight of stairs. You've got your own front door and a gravel garden out the back.

Inside, it’s all on one level. There’s a big open space with the kitchen, a table, and a sofa area. Everything you need is there: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. The bedroom is separate with a kingsize bed and its own little dressing room. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well kitted out and comfortable.

The garden is tiered and private. There's a bench and a table and chairs under a big tree. We leave a fire bowl out there too. We've got chickens, so fresh eggs are included. You can go and say hello to them if you like, we provide the corn.

You're on the edge of the Forest of Bowland here. It's very quiet. You can walk straight out from the door onto the hills. It's proper walking country, rarely see another soul. For local maps and information, the Forest of Bowland site is useful. If you want to cycle, there's storage here and you can hire bikes nearby.

Lancaster is about six miles away for shops, the castle, and restaurants. The market town of Garstang is closer, about four miles. The nearest pub is in Dolphinholme, a mile and a half down the lane. It does food.

It's a good spot for getting to other places too. You can be on the M6 in ten minutes. Morecambe Bay and the coast are about half an hour. The Lake District is under an hour's drive north.

We don't take pets. All bedding and towels are provided. There's parking right outside.
