Lakeland View is on our farm in Quernmore. It's a converted cattle barn, terraced with two others. You can see the fells from the windows. It's a proper working farm, so you'll see sheep and cattle in the fields.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The patio has a picnic bench. The garden bit is enclosed, if that matters.
You're right on the edge of the Trough of Bowland, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The walking is very good straight from the door. For a bigger walk, the Forest of Bowland is right there.
The nearest shop and pub are about four miles away in Caton. Lancaster is a short drive. It's got the castle, Williamson's Park, and you can get what you need there. Morecambe is about eight miles if you want the seaside.
If you want to go further, you can drive into the Yorkshire Dales or up to the Lake District in under an hour. Kendal is about half an hour. Blackpool is maybe 45 minutes if you fancy the lights.
What's here: TV, washing machine, towels and bedding are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring one dog. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them.
