Hoole Summer House

This is Hoole Summer House in Elswick. It's a single-storey, detached building in the grounds of a larger estate. You'll have the place to yourselves. We had it all renovated a couple of years ago.

It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and everything's in good order. Because it's all on one level, the doorways and the shower are easy to get into.

There's a hot tub on the terrace. The main view from the front is over fields, it's very open and quiet. You get your own garden area too.

Elswick village has a couple of pubs that do food and a good ice cream place. They're about a fifteen minute walk. For bigger supermarkets and more shops, you'd drive to Kirkham or Poulton-le-Fylde. That takes about fifteen minutes.

The coast is about twenty minutes by car. Lytham and St Annes are that way, they're nice for a walk on the beach or a coffee. Blackpool is in the other direction, also about twenty minutes. That's where all the big attractions are, like the Tower and the Pleasure Beach.

If you want proper countryside, the Forest of Bowland is half an hour's drive. You can get to the edge of the Lake District, or into Manchester or Liverpool, in about an hour if you fancied a longer trip.

In terms of stuff here: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.

For planning days out, the Blackpool site has all the attraction details, and the Visit Lytham site is useful for the other coast.
