Greenbank Farm
Greenbank Farm is the bungalow at the end of our lane. It's detached, so you're on your own out there. The views are good, just fields and sky.
It sleeps five in two bedrooms. They share a bathroom between them, which has a walk-in shower. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well-kept and everything works. It's all on one level.
There's a wood burner for cool evenings and a wood-fired hot tub outside. You get the wood for it.
We live next door in the farmhouse. We've got pygmy goats in the paddock. The kids like to feed them sometimes.
It feels rural but you're not far from things. Kirkham's about ten minutes away for shops, cafes, and a few takeaways. Ribby Hall Village is there if you want a spa day.
The coast is twenty minutes or so. Lytham has a nice promenade with places to eat. St Annes has a big sandy beach. Blackpool's the same sort of drive if you want the lights and the attractions.
For walking, the Forest of Bowland is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales are about an hour's drive if you fancy a longer trip.
Facilities: there's WiFi, parking, a washing machine, and a cot and highchair if you need them. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
