The Hay Loft
The Hay Loft is a converted barn on a farm just outside Poulton le Fylde. It's a two-bedroom place that sleeps four. You get the whole first floor. There's parking right outside.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything works, it's clean, and it's warm. The stairs up to it are a proper farmhouse staircase, so they're quite steep.
You're in the countryside here. The view from the living room is over the fields. It's quiet. You can bring one dog. We ask that you keep it on the lead outside because of the farm animals.
Poulton town centre is about a ten-minute drive. There's a Tesco there, and some decent pubs for food. The train station in Poulton has direct links to Blackpool and to Preston.
Blackpool is twenty minutes in the car. You've got the Tower, the Pleasure Beach, all that. For a different kind of day out, the Wyre Estuary country parks are closer and good for a walk. The Gyll and Baineshead woods are nice too, about a twenty-five minute drive.
Further afield, you can get to the Lake District in just over an hour, or the Yorkshire Dales in about the same. Lancaster and its castle are about forty minutes.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. All the bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
