The Hay Loft
The Hay Loft is in Poulton le Fylde. It's a converted barn on a working farm, so you’ll see horses and chickens. The views are over fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. The stairs are the original stable stairs, so they're quite steep. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable but it's not new, so there are some low beams and the odd creaky floorboard.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There’s a small enclosed yard area, but it’s not a big garden. For a proper run, the field footpaths start just past the farm gate.
Poulton town centre is about a mile away. There’s a Tesco and some decent pubs. The nearest beach is at Cleveleys, which is a ten-minute drive. Blackpool is about twenty minutes by car for the Pleasure Beach or the Tower.
For walking, the Wyre Council walks page lists local routes. The Lake District National Park is just over an hour north if you fancy a day trip.
Facilities wise: WiFi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
