Ferndale Bungalow
Ferndale Bungalow is in Hambleton village, near Poulton-le-Fylde. It's a detached bungalow so everything's on one level, which is handy. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is clean and modern.
One of the bedrooms is upstairs on a galleried bit above the living room. You get up there via a staircase. There's an enclosed garden out the back with a patio.
There's a private hot tub and a barbecue hut in the garden. They're yours to use. The garden backs onto a small holding with a stable yard, so you might see or hear horses sometimes. That's just part of it being out here.
In the village there's a pub that does food, a farm shop, a grocery store and a takeaway. All within walking distance.
The coast is about 15 to 30 minutes' drive. That gets you to places like Lytham, St Annes, and Cleveleys for a proper promenade walk. Blackpool is in that direction too, if you want the attractions.
For a day out, the Forest of Bowland is good for walking and is under an hour away. The Ribble Valley is nice. The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are both about an hour's drive if you fancy going further.
Facilities: everything you'd expect really. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on site.
