Ferndale Bungalow
Ferndale Bungalow is a detached bungalow just outside Hambleton village in Lancashire. It's on a quiet lane called Sower Carr.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one shower room. Everything's on one level except the second bedroom, which is up a ladder-stair to a galleried area above the living room. You need to be okay with that. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable.
There's a decent enclosed garden. The hot tub and the barbecue hut are out there for you to use.
In Hambleton, there's a pub that does food, a farm shop, a small grocery, and a takeaway. All within walking distance. Poulton-le-Fylde is a short drive for more shops and places to eat.
You're about 15 to 30 minutes from the Fylde Coast. That includes places like Thornton-Cleveleys, Fleetwood with its outlet shopping, and Lytham St Annes. Blackpool and all its attractions are in that direction too.
For a different day out, the Forest of Bowland is good for walking and is under an hour away. The Ribble Valley is nice. The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are both about an hour's drive if you fancy a longer trip.
Facilities: it's got parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
