Wharfdale Lodge is a bungalow in Thornton. It's semi-detached. The area is quiet, mostly houses. You've got your own garden, it's enclosed.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. The whole place is on one level, so no stairs.
You're between Thornton and Cleveleys. There's a local shop and a couple of pubs a short walk away. The beach at Cleveleys is about a mile. It's sand and shingle. They've put up some big sculptures along the front there.
Blackpool is four miles down the coast. You can drive or get the tram from Cleveleys. It's about ten minutes on the tram to the Tower and the Pleasure Beach.
Further along the coast, Lytham and St. Annes have nice beaches and cafes. They're about a twenty minute drive. Inland, the Forest of Bowland is good for walking. It's about half an hour. The Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District are both within an hour if you want a proper day trip.
For facilities: it's all on the ground floor. There's parking right outside. Pets are welcome, one dog. We include bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. We've also got a cot and highchair if you need them.
