Honeybee Cottage
Honeybee Cottage is in Lytham. It's a terrace cottage, end of a row. It's about a ten minute walk from the town centre and the promenade.
It sleeps five, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower and a freestanding bath. It has a 4 Star rating. The stairs are fairly steep, which is common in these cottages.
The back yard is fully enclosed. It's paved, so good for sitting out with a coffee. The conservatory looks onto it.
The kitchen was redone in 2023. It has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi. We accept up to two well-behaved dogs.
Lytham itself is nice. The green and the windmill are worth a look. The promenade is good for a flat walk with views over to Southport. For a bigger beach with sand, St Anne's is the next town along. It has a long pier and is about five minutes in the car.
If you want the noise and lights, Blackpool is about twenty minutes' drive. The Pleasure Beach, the Tower, all that.
Golf is big here. Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club is nearby. There's local fishing too, from the coast or the piers.
For a day out, the Forest of Bowland is about an hour's drive inland. The southern Lake District is about the same.
