Birkby Lodge

Birkby Lodge is a first-floor duplex in Lytham St Anne's. It's on a street about 200 yards from the beach. The building has three apartments total, and you get a share of the garden at the back.

It sleeps six. There are two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. The first is a double on the same floor as the living area. The second bedroom is upstairs. It's a big room with two double beds in it, which works well for families or friends.

The rating is 4 Star. It's got what you need. Dishwasher, washing machine, parking on site. The living room looks out over the street.

It's a short walk to the seafront. The beach is mostly sand. You get the usual seaside stuff: cafes, fish and chips, a nice green. There's a good local pub nearby.

If you want to do more, Blackpool is about 15 minutes in the car. That's where the Pleasure Beach and the Tower are. Lytham is the other direction, maybe a 20 minute walk along the coast. It's quieter, has a windmill and a boating lake.

Facilities are pretty standard: WiFi, TV, all bedding included. No pets allowed.
