This is Beudy Hen. It's on our farm just outside Harlech. The building is a converted stone barn, so it's semi-detached. You get your own garden area with a picnic table. The view is over our valley and you can see the sea from the front.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up well, it's comfortable. Being an old barn, the doorframes are a bit low in places. You'll remember to duck.
You're on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and tractors. The coast is about two miles away. The beach at Harlech is sandy and long. Llanbedr airfield is a few minutes drive, they do light aircraft tours if that's your thing.
Harlech Castle is very close. It's a proper fortress up on the rock. Harlech Castle. Portmeirion is about twenty minutes drive. It's unusual. Portmeirion. For walking, you're right in Snowdonia National Park. The mountains start almost from the doorstep.
There's a shop and a pub in the village, about a mile and a half away. The pub does meals. The nearest bigger supermarket is in Porthmadog, about fifteen minutes by car.
What's here: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring two dogs. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them.
