Cobden View
Cobden View is up here on our farm. It's detached, so it's quiet. The view looks out over Sabden Valley towards Pendle Hill. That's the main thing.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's all on one level, so no stairs. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable. Everything works.
You're on a working farm. That means you'll see sheep, hear tractors sometimes. If you're up early, you might see us moving stock. Kids usually like it.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs. You can bring two. There's a BBQ out there and a patio to sit on.
In the cottage, there's a wood burner, which is nice in the evenings. TV, WiFi, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them.
Sabden village is about a mile down the lane. It's got a couple of shops and two pubs that do food. The Pendle Hill walks start from there, really. You can just go.
Clitheroe and Whalley are about ten minutes by car. Clitheroe has a castle and supermarkets. Whalley has the abbey. Both have decent restaurants.
For a day out, you're well placed. The Forest of Bowland is right here. The Yorkshire Dales are maybe forty minutes drive. The coast at Morecambe or Lytham is under an hour. Skipton and Settle are in that direction too.
Parking is right outside the door.
