This is Mabels Stable. It's near Clitheroe, in Barrow. It's a stone-built cottage, detached. It used to be a stable. They've done it up modern inside.
It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. The bathroom is between the living area and the bedroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. You can bring one dog.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen, living area, dining table. Big patio doors look out over the fields. Sometimes there are sheep or cows in the next field. The patio is enclosed, so it's private and safe for a dog.
The stairs are a bit steep. It's because of the conversion. Just something to be aware of.
It's quiet here. Set back from the road. Clitheroe town center is about a ten minute drive. There's a local pub you can walk to.
For days out, the Forest of Bowland is right there for walking. You can be in the Yorkshire Dales National Park in under half an hour. Pendle Hill is close if you want a proper hike. The National Trust has information on the area.
Facilities are all included. Wifi, TV, dishwasher, parking. Bedding and towels are provided.
