Ty Hen is in Llangwnnadl, on the Llŷn Peninsula. It's a detached old farmhouse, so it's on its own. You'll see our sheep in the fields around it. The views are good. You can see the countryside and a bit of the coast.
It sleeps eight people. Five bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has what you need. It's an old house, so the floors aren't all level and the doors are a bit low in places.
You're about three quarters of a mile from Porth Colmon. It's a little harbour with a beach. Sometimes the fishermen sell crabs and lobsters there. The village shop is half a mile away, but it's seasonal so check opening times.
Pwllheli is 15 miles for bigger shops and places to eat. It's busy in the summer. Abersoch is about 20 minutes by car for beaches and sailing.
For days out, you're well placed. Aberdaron and the tip of the peninsula are close. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coast here. You can drive to Snowdonia or down to Criccieth castle in under half an hour. The Snowdonia National Park site has walking routes.
What's here: There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights. The garden is enclosed. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. You can bring two dogs.
