Deuglawdd Cottage is on our farm, just outside Aberdaron. It's detached from our farmhouse, so it's private. You get a garden that's fully enclosed.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a proper staircase inside, not a ladder, but the steps are a typical cottage size.
Aberdaron village is about a mile down the lane. There's a shop, a couple of pubs, and a very good beach. The beach is sandy and quite big. You can get boat trips from there out to Bardsey Island if you're interested in that. The Wales Coast Path runs right past it for walking.
The cottage is on a working farm. You'll see sheep in the fields. Sometimes you hear tractors. It's a quiet lane, but you might get farm traffic during the day.
For a bigger town, Pwllheli is about twenty minutes by car. Abersoch is in the other direction, maybe fifteen minutes. They have more shops and restaurants there, and it's busy in the summer.
Inside, there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. The WiFi works. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust Llŷn Peninsula site has good information on the area.
