Hafen Deg

Hafen Deg is on our farm near Aberdaron, on the Llŷn Peninsula. It's a one bedroom apartment that sleeps two. You're on your own here, but you share the garden and fishing lakes with the main farmhouse, Bodrydd, if it's occupied.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. Everything's on one level. The shower is good and hot. There's a washing machine and an electric vehicle charger. You can park right outside.

You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is shared but it's large, so it's easy to give other guests space. There are two coarse fishing lakes on site which are free for guests to use.

The location is quiet. It's a working beef farm, so you'll see cows in the fields. You're about two miles from Aberdaron village. It's a nice walk down the lane if you don't mind the hill back. The village has a couple of shops, pubs, and cafes. The beach there is sandy and good for swimming when the tide's in.

For walking, the coast path is right there. You can walk to Aberdaron one way or towards Porthor (Whistling Sands) the other. The National Trust's Porth y Swnt centre in Aberdaron is interesting for local history.

If you drive, you can get to Abersoch in about 25 minutes for more shops and another big beach. Pwllheli is about half an hour away and has a bigger supermarket. The edge of Snowdonia is about a 30 minute drive for mountain walks.

Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a TV.
