Hafen Deg
Hafen Deg is an apartment on our farm in Penycaerau, near Aberdaron on the Llŷn Peninsula. It's for two people. You're on your own, but our family home and another holiday cottage, Bodrydd, are nearby on the same land.
It's a one bedroom place. Bedroom, bathroom, and an open plan living space. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well-equipped. The WiFi is okay, but it's a rural area so it can be slow sometimes.
You look out over the fields from the front. At the back, there's a shared garden area and you can see the fishing lakes. The lakes are coarse fishing and are open to the public, so you might see other anglers. You're welcome to fish if you have a licence.
It's a working beef farm, so you'll see cattle in the fields. There will be farm noise and activity during the day.
Aberdaron is about two miles down the lane. It's a small village with a couple of pubs, a shop, and a café. The beach there is good. The National Trust has a visitor centre there called Porth y Swnt.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the Llŷn Peninsula. The coast path is stunning. For mountains, Snowdonia is about a 30 minute drive. The Snowdonia National Park site has all the information.
Facilities: everything's included - electric, bedding, towels. There's a washing machine, TV, and parking right outside. We have an electric vehicle charger you can use. We accept one well-behaved dog.
