Penrhyn Mawr is a farmhouse in Aberdaron, near the end of the Llyn Peninsula. It's on our working farm. The views from the front are over the sea, no buildings in the way.
It's a three-bedroom place, sleeps six, with two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star rating, which is about right. It's comfortable and clean. It's Grade II listed, so you get things like thick walls and an inglenook fireplace. The stairs are a bit steep and winding, it's that sort of house.
You're right on the edge of National Trust land here. There's a path down to the coast from the farm track. Aberdaron village is about a mile and a half down the road. It's got a good sandy beach, a couple of shops, cafes, and pubs that do food.
Pwllheli is about a half hour drive if you need a bigger supermarket or the high street. For mountains, Snowdonia National Park is under an hour away. Abersoch is the other direction, maybe 25 minutes, that's where the sailing and more beaches are.
The facilities are what you'd expect: washing machine, dishwasher, wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. No pets, I'm afraid, because of the livestock.
