Trewern is in Aberdaron, right at the tip of the Llŷn Peninsula. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. That's good if you don't fancy stairs.
It sleeps six. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom has a king-size bed and its own en-suite shower room. The other is a family room with a double bed and bunk beds. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The living area is L-shaped with a wood burner. We've left a stack of books and some DVDs. There's a conservatory out the back that catches the sun. The kitchen has what you'd need, including a dishwasher.
The garden is enclosed, which is ideal if you're bringing dogs or have kids. It's a big lawn. It backs onto a conservation area, so it's very quiet and you get a lot of birds. We've left some binoculars.
Aberdaron village is about a five minute walk down the hill. The beach is sandy and looks out towards Ynys Gwylan-fawr and Ynys Gwylan-fach, the islands. There's a shop, a couple of places to eat, and a bakery. The National Trust has a centre by the beach.
You're on the coast path here. Porthor, the Whistling Sands, is about two miles up the coast. Abersoch and Llanbedrog are within a half hour drive. For a longer day out, you can drive to the edge of Snowdonia in about 30-40 minutes.
Facilities: parking for two cars, WiFi, washing machine, TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a BBQ, a cot, and a highchair if you need them.
