It's called Benlli. It's a modern bungalow on the hill just above Aberdaron, so you get the view down into the village. The rating is 4 Star, which covers things like the wet room and wider doorways. It's all on one level, so the layout is straightforward if steps are a problem.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms and has two bathrooms, one is a wet room. The place is bright and the main living area is open plan. There's a patio with a table, chairs, and a barbecue. And there's a hot tub.
You can walk down to the village in a few minutes. There's a good sandy beach. A shop, a couple of pubs, and some cafes. The National Trust has a centre in the village called Porth y Swnt, which is useful for finding out about the area.
The Wales Coastal Path goes right past. You can start long walks from the door. For a bigger town, Pwllheli is about a 20 minute drive east. They've got supermarkets and a leisure centre.
Snowdonia is about a 30 minute drive inland. You can be at the foot of Tryfan or around the lakes without too much trouble. For a day out, you could go to Abersoch, which is the next bay along, or take the drive to the very tip of the peninsula at the Uwchmynydd headland.
Facilities wise: it's got parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
