This is Bodarfor, which means By The Sea, in Aberdaron. It's right on the tip of the Llyn Peninsula.
The house sleeps five people. There are three bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating, which is a new rating system and means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
It's a detached house, so no shared walls. The French doors in the living room open straight out into a fully enclosed garden with decking. You look out directly towards the sea. The sunsets from there are very good.
Aberdaron village is all around you. Everything is within a few minutes' walk. There are two pubs that do food, cafes, a bakery, a fish and chip shop, and a Spar shop with a post office. You don't really need to drive once you're here.
The beach is just down the hill. The coastal path runs past the village. For a good walk, you can head up to the Uwchmynydd headland above the village. You get a clear view of Bardsey Island from up there. The island itself is a boat trip away from the harbour if you're interested.
In the house we've put in things like a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding is included. There is on-site parking and, new this year, an electric vehicle charger. The WiFi is reliable.
You can bring dogs, up to three are welcome. There's a note that the garden is enclosed but hedges can have gaps, so it's worth checking if your dog is a known escape artist.
For planning, you might find the Llŷn Peninsula site and the National Trust Llŷn page useful. They have details on the coastal path and local places.
