Ty Canol
This is Ty Canol. It’s down a lane off the main road in Penycaerau near Rhiw. It's attached to the cottage next door, but you have your own garden and it's private. The view from the garden is good, just fields and hills. If you want to see the sea properly, you need to drive.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and functional. The ceilings are low in some rooms. You get used to it, but mind your head.
There's a pub you can walk to, about a ten minute walk back up the lane. The beach at Aberdaron is about a ten minute drive. It's a nice beach, sand and rock pools. There’s an ice cream shop there and a couple of places for a cup of tea.
Pwllheli is 12 miles away for bigger shops. Abersoch is about 15 miles. They're busy in summer. Good if you want watersports or a different beach.
The cottage has a wood burning stove. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Parking is right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
