Bodrydd

Bodrydd is a converted barn on our farm in Penycraerau, up near the top of the Llyn Peninsula. It's detached and sleeps fourteen people across six bedrooms, so it works for a big family or group.

The place is 5 Star, which means it's comfortable and well-fitted. There are four bathrooms, so no big queues. One of them is a wet room with grab rails, so it's accessible if you need that. The stairs are normal, nothing too steep.

The main living room is spacious, with a wood burner and a baby grand piano. You can play it if you like. There's a conservatory off that room which looks out over the fishing lakes on the land. From there, French doors go out to a decked area with a covered, heated plunge pool. It's not a full swimming pool, more for a cool dip.

There's also a games room for if the weather turns. We're a working beef farm, so you'll see cattle in the fields. You can use the coarse fishing lakes if you want. They're open to the public as well.

The location is rural. You're about two miles from the nearest shop, pub, and beach. The beach is Nefyn, which is a long, sandy one. The village of Aberdaron is a bit further, maybe fifteen minutes by car. It's a nice little fishing spot with some cafes and a good National Trust centre called Porth y Swnt. You can see seals and dolphins sometimes.

For a bigger town, Pwllheli is about a twenty-five minute drive. They've got a market and more shops. Snowdonia National Park is within half an hour for walking. You can get to some of the main trails without too much hassle.

Facilities wise: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels included, Wi-Fi, BBQ, parking on site. There's an electric vehicle charger. We can take up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.

If you're planning walks or days out around here, the Snowdonia National Park site is useful, as is the Visit Wales page for the Llyn Peninsula.
