Methlem Chalet is in Rhydlios. It's a detached chalet on a quiet spot. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious.
The living space is open plan: kitchen, dining, and sitting area all together. That means whoever's cooking isn't cut off. The veranda is the best bit. It's big, with proper chairs and a table. You get a full, wide view over the fields. It's peaceful.
The famous Whistling Sands beach, Porthor, is about a twenty minute walk away. The path starts just down the lane. It's a good beach, especially when the tide's out. You can hear the sand whistle if conditions are right. From there, you can walk along the coast for miles.
Aberdaron village is about three miles down the road. That's got shops, cafes, and a couple of pubs. It feels like you're at the very end of the land, which you pretty much are. You can drive around the whole Llyn Peninsula from here. Abersoch and its bigger beach are about a fifteen minute drive.
Facilities: there's a shower, TV, washing machine, and parking right next to the chalet. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's no enclosed garden, but there are fields all around for walks on a lead.
Useful links for planning: National Trust for Scotland Llyn Peninsula and Snowdonia National Park for the mountains, which are about half an hour's drive east.
