Ty Hen

Ty Hen is up in Penycaerau, near Rhiw on the Llŷn Peninsula. It's a three bedroom cottage on a working farm. We've got sheep and cattle. The owner's cottage is right next door.

It sleeps six, has one bathroom, and a ground floor wet room. It's got a 3 Star rating. There's a woodburner for when it's cold. Wi-Fi and parking are included.

The garden is enclosed and you have it to yourselves. You can bring two dogs. The stairs are steep and narrow. I'd be careful with small children.

There's a shop and a pub that serves food two miles away in Rhiw. Aberdaron is a proper seaside village, also about two miles. It has a few cafes and a National Trust centre. The nearest sandy beach is about a mile and a half.

You're right on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park here. The whole coastline is walked by the Wales Coast Path. If you want to go further, Pwllheli has more shops and a marina. It's about a 30 minute drive.

Inside, you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, a cot, and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
