Chapel Court Apartment

Chapel Court Apartment is in Barnard Castle, on the ground floor. It sleeps two. One bedroom with a king size bed, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and everything works.

It's open plan. Kitchen, table, sofa, TV. The bedroom is a good size. Because it's all on one level, it's straightforward. There's parking right outside.

You're basically in the town centre. Walk out the door and you're a minute from the shops, pubs, and cafes. The castle ruins are there overlooking the river. The Bowes Museum is worth a visit, it's a big French-looking building with art inside.

For walking, you're on the edge of the North Pennines. Middleton-in-Teesdale is up the road. High Force waterfall is about a 20 minute drive. Raby Castle is close too.

If you want to go further, the Yorkshire Dales are about 40 minutes south. Durham city is maybe half an hour east. The very top of the Lake District is just over an hour's drive.
