Cwtch Winnie
Cwtch Winnie is a modern shepherd's hut. It's in a field on our farm, near the village of Llysfaen, a few miles inland from Colwyn Bay.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, which is mainly about the fixtures being new and in good order.
It was built as a comfortable space, not a basic one. It's open plan. There's a wood burner for heat, a kitchenette with what you'll need for short stays, and the shower is in a separate cubicle attached to the back. Patio doors open straight out into a private, enclosed garden. The hot tub is out there.
You can bring one dog. The garden is fully enclosed so they can't wander off.
The location is quiet. It's rural. You look out over fields towards the hills. You can walk from the door straight onto public footpaths.
Colwyn Bay beach is about a ten minute drive. Llanddulas beach is similar. For a bigger day out, Snowdonia National Park is less than half an hour's drive for walks and scenery. Conwy and its castle are about twenty minutes away. There's a golf course a couple of miles away at Silver Birch.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's a TV, parking right by the hut, and the hot tub. The garden is yours.
