Tre Fardre
This is Tre Fardre. It's a detached cottage on our dairy farm near St George, in Conwy. The farm is working, so you'll see cattle in the fields. It's quiet here.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living room has an inglenook fireplace with a woodburner. There's a patio out the back that gets the sun.
The stairs are the main thing to know about. They're steep and a bit narrow, like in a lot of old cottages. Just mind your head.
You're a couple of miles from the beach at Pensarn, which is sandy. Llandudno is about a fifteen minute drive. That's got all the shops and the Great Orme. Conwy and its castle are even closer. The Welsh Mountain Zoo in Colwyn Bay is good for a visit.
For walking, you're right on the edge of Snowdonia. Betws-y-Coed is maybe twenty five minutes by car. Useful links for planning: National Trust Snowdonia and Snowdonia National Park Authority.
In terms of what's here, there's a TV, a woodburner, parking, and bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage if you bring them. No pets, I'm afraid. The local pub is about a mile down the lane.
