Heritage Lodge is in Rhyl, Denbighshire. It's a big, detached house built in the same style as the large church next door. It sleeps eight, which is accurate.
It's got four bedrooms. Two are doubles, one is a twin, and one has a bunk bed with a double on the bottom. There are three bathrooms. One is a wet room downstairs by the playroom, and there are two more family bathrooms upstairs, one with a bath and one with a walk-in shower.
The place is set up for dogs. We can take up to three. We leave out crates, bowls, blankets, and tags you can use. There's a dog sofa in the utility area too. The back garden is fully enclosed with paving.
Inside, there's a lot of space. Two big sitting rooms, one with an open fire. The kitchen has a range cooker with seven hobs. The dining room seats eight comfortably. Off the courtyard there's a brightly painted playroom full of toys for kids, and a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and a big fridge-freezer.
Outside, there's a paved, enclosed garden with a hot tub under a gazebo. There's outdoor furniture and off-road parking for three cars. Reversing onto the drive gives you more room to get out.
It's about a ten-minute walk down to Rhyl's seafront and the town centre. The train station is nearby, with direct links to Liverpool, Chester, and stations along the North Wales coast.
Within half an hour's drive you've got a lot. The Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is right there for walks. You can visit castles like Rhuddlan Castle or Denbigh Castle. The National Trust has a few properties nearby, like Erddig. For a day out, Chester's Roman walls and zoo are easily reachable.
Included in the price is all your bedding and towels, WiFi, and electricity. We leave a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. The rating is 4 Star.
