Smitten Cottage
This is Smitten Cottage, in Rhyl. It's a detached house on a quiet cul-de-sac. The beach is about a five minute walk away.
It sleeps six. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, one of them is an ensuite. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The living area is open plan downstairs, which makes it feel bright. French doors open out to the patio. The garden is enclosed.
Rhyl town centre is close. There are shops, cafes, and a few restaurants within walking distance. There's a pub a few hundred yards away. The main attractions here are on the promenade: the funfair, the SeaQuarium, the waterpark. It's that sort of traditional seaside holiday.
If you want to get out, Prestatyn is three miles along the coast. They have a cinema, a bowling alley, and a leisure centre. The North Wales Path walking route starts there. For golf, there's a course in Rhyl and one in Prestatyn.
Further afield, within about 30 minutes, you've got Bodelwyddan Castle, Colwyn Bay, and Conwy. Llandudno and the Great Orme are about a 40 minute drive. Bodnant Garden is stunning, but check their opening times. Snowdonia is about an hour's drive.
On the facilities side: there's parking, wifi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a stairgate. No pets, sorry.
