Smitten Cottage is in Rhyl, on a quiet cul-de-sac near the end. It's detached with a corner garden, so there are no neighbours right on top of you. You can walk to the beach in about five minutes.
It sleeps six in four bedrooms. One has an en-suite shower room, and there's a main bathroom too. There’s an extra single room that could fit a small child. The stairs are fine, nothing unusual. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Everything is clean and works.
The main room downstairs is open plan, kitchen at one end and living space at the other. The French doors go out to a patio. It’s a decent space. There’s a washing machine and dishwasher, and the Wi-Fi works.
You can walk into Rhyl town centre easily. There are shops, cafes, and a few pubs. The promenade has the usual seaside things: amusements, a theatre, a waterpark. The beach is sandy.
Prestatyn is the next town along, about three miles. It has a cinema, bowling, and a leisure centre. From there you can get onto Offa’s Dyke Path if you're walking.
For a day out, places like Bodnant Garden or Conwy are within half an hour’s drive. Llandudno and the Great Orme are about the same. Snowdonia is less than an hour if you want to get into the mountains.
There’s parking on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
