Hillside Retreat

Hillside Retreat is a three bedroom house in Prestatyn. It sleeps six. It's detached, so completely on its own. It has a 5 Star luxury rating, which basically means everything is new and in good order.

The layout is upside down. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the ground floor. The main bedroom is big, with two walk in wardrobes that lead into its ensuite.

Upstairs is the open plan living space, with a kitchen, dining and sitting area. Big bi-folding doors open onto a balcony that runs across the front of the house. The view looks out over Prestatyn town to the sea. The sea is about a mile away.

Also from upstairs, a door leads out to the garden. There's a private decked area with garden furniture.

Prestatyn town centre is a short walk for shops, pubs, and restaurants. The beach is sandy and about a mile downhill. The Nova Centre has a swimming pool and soft play. The Scala Cinema shows films.

For walking, Prestatyn is the start of the Offa's Dyke Path. You can do a short section or plan a long one. More locally, the North Wales Path runs along the coast.

Within half an hour's drive you have a few options. Rhuddlan Castle is about ten minutes away. St Asaph is a small city with Wales's smallest cathedral. Further along the coast, Llandudno has the Great Orme you can walk up or get the tram. The A55 also takes you towards Chester, which is good for a day out.

The facilities are what you'd expect: parking, WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring one well behaved dog.
