Pen Y Bont is our place in Rhuddlan. It's a one bedroom cottage, so for two people. You can bring a dog.
The main thing is the location. You can walk into the centre of Rhuddlan in a few minutes. There's a shop, a pub, and the castle is right there. You can walk along the River Clwyd from the door. The local golf course is just down the road.
The bedroom looks out over the river. The stairs in the cottage are a proper, old-fashioned sweep. They're not steep, but they are curved. There's a wood burner in the living room. It works well.
Outside, there's a parking space on the gravel and a front garden with a table. It gets the sun in the morning.
For days out, Rhyl and Prestatyn beaches are about ten minutes' drive. Llandudno is maybe half an hour. Snowdonia National Park is less than an hour if you want mountains. The National Trust has a lot of properties nearby too.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well looked after. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding is included.
