The Lodge

The Lodge used to be stables. It's been done up. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom.

It's in Dyserth, North Wales. It's countryside but you're not isolated. The village shop and a pub are about half a mile away. It's quiet.

You get the paddock next door to use. The views from there are good, over the fields.

The property has a 5 Star rating. It's comfortable. The bed linen is good quality. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside.

One dog is welcome. The stairs are a standard flight, not steep cottage stairs.

If you walk, the Offa's Dyke Path is literally 100 yards from the gate. You can start a proper walk from the door. The Dyserth Waterfall is a short walk too.

Prestatyn beach is about three and a half miles away. It's sandy. Rhyl is close for things like the theatre. For a bigger day out, Llandudno is about 40 minutes by car. The drive around the Great Orme is worth it. Conwy and its castle are in that direction too.

The other way, Snowdonia is reachable. Betws-y-Coed is maybe 40 minutes. Chester is about an hour if you fancy a city trip.
