Holly Lodge
Holly Lodge is in Lloc, Flintshire. It's a detached lodge on its own bit of land. It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. The master has an en-suite shower.
It's got an open plan living area. Patio doors open onto a big patio with a private hot tub. You can sit out there and look at the view. The kitchen has what you'd need. There's a Smart TV in the living room and in each bedroom. There's a washing machine and parking right outside.
The stairs are fine, not too steep. We include all bedding and towels. No pets, sorry.
The lodge is in the grounds of a larger property, Pheasant Fields, if you needed to book both for a bigger group.
There's a pub about five minutes walk away. A shop is a mile away. The coast is about four miles, so you can be at the beach in 15 minutes. Rhyl, Prestatyn and Talacre are all about that drive away.
Holywell is three miles. It's known for St Winifred's Well, which is in Greenfield Valley Heritage Park. That's a good place for a walk. There are old abbey ruins, mills, and some lakes. It's run by the National Trust.
Within half an hour you've got Chester Zoo and the Blue Planet Aquarium. The city of Chester is about 30 minutes away for shopping or the races. Conwy Castle and Llandudno are also within that drive.
If you want to go further, Snowdonia, Llangollen and Anglesey are about an hour. Liverpool is 45 minutes.
