Holly Lodge is a detached lodge in Lloc, Flintshire. It’s a quiet spot, a bit out of the way. You get your own garden and a patio with a hot tub which looks out over the fields.
It’s rated 4 Star. Sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom has a king size bed and its own shower room. All the bedrooms have TVs. The main room is open plan, with the kitchen at one end. It’s well equipped for cooking.
There’s a local pub about five minutes’ walk away. A shop is just over a mile away in the village. The nearest beach is Talacre, about a 15 minute drive.
You’re three miles from Holywell. The main thing there is St Winifred’s Well, which is in Greenfield Valley Heritage Park. The park has the ruins of Basingwerk Abbey and some old mill buildings. It’s good for a walk. More information on the park here: Greenfield Valley.
Within half an hour you can get to Rhyl or Prestatyn, or the city of Chester. Chester Zoo and the Blue Planet Aquarium are about a 30 minute drive. Llandudno and Conwy Castle are also within that distance. Snowdonia is about an hour by car.
The lodge is in the grounds of another property, Pheasant Fields, which sleeps ten. They can be booked together if you’ve got a bigger group.
Facilities: parking right outside, washing machine, WiFi, all bedding and towels included. We don’t accept pets.
