Matty's Place

Matty's Place is in Lixwm, Flintshire. It's quiet here, up a track near some woods. There's a house between you and the lane, so you don't get any traffic noise.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable, not luxury. The bathroom has a big jacuzzi bath with a shower attachment, not a separate shower cubicle.

It's open plan downstairs. The kitchen is at one end, then the dining space, then the lounge with the TV. There's a patio door from the twin bedroom out to a decked area. You've got the garden to yourselves.

The location is good for getting about. You're just off the A55, so you can go east or west easily. Prestatyn beach is about 20 minutes away. Rhyl and Talacre are similar. Llandudno is maybe 40 minutes. For the hills, Moel Famau is right there. The Offa's Dyke Path is nearby too.

Snowdonia is under an hour if you want bigger mountains. Snowdonia National Park has all the information you'd need for that.

You can bring two dogs. There are good walks straight from the door into the woods and fields. Facilities: wifi, parking, bike storage, bed linen included. There's a local pub in the village.
