Matty's Place
This is Matty's Place, near Lixwm in Flintshire. It's a bungalow, so all on one level. The garden's enclosed, which is handy if you've got dogs.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One's a double, the other has twin beds. There's one bathroom with a bath that has a shower attachment. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. It's not fancy, but it does the job.
You can walk straight out from the back gate into some woods and fields. Good for letting the dogs off first thing. There's a local pub about a mile away.
You're right by the A55, so getting around is easy. Prestatyn beach is about 20 minutes away by car. Rhyl and Talacre are similar. For a proper mountain day, Snowdonia National Park is about 40 minutes. Moel Famau and the Clwydian Range are much closer, maybe a 10 minute drive for some good walks. The Offa's Dyke Path runs through there too.
Inside, it's open plan. Kitchen, living area, dining space, all in one room. There's a TV, WiFi, parking for a couple of cars, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs.
