Pheasants Fields is a detached house in Lloc, Flintshire. It's a quiet village spot but not remote. You've got views over fields from the garden.
The house sleeps up to ten people in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which helps with a bigger group. One is a wet room on the ground floor, which is handy if anyone has mobility issues. The place has a 5 Star rating. It's well-equipped, with things like a dishwasher and wifi. There's a hot tub in the garden.
Inside, it's got some old features like beams and a fireplace, alongside the modern stuff. The stairs are a typical cottage staircase, so they turn a bit and can be uneven. Something to be aware of.
The local shop is about a mile away. There's a pub two miles away, and a restaurant three miles. You'll likely drive to most places.
The North Wales coast is close. The beach at Talacre, with the dunes and lighthouse, is about four miles away. Prestatyn is seven miles. It's a classic seaside town with a promenade and things like that.
For a day out, Chester is half an hour's drive. It's good for shopping, the Roman walls, and the racecourse. Chester Zoo is also within 30 minutes. Conwy, with its castle, is about the same drive time. Llandudno is similar, it's a Victorian resort with a pier and the Great Orme.
A bit further afield, you can get to the edge of Snowdonia, Llangollen, or even Anglesey in about an hour if you fancy a longer trip.
Closer to home, Holywell is three miles away. The main thing there is St Winefride's Well in the Greenfield Valley Heritage Park. It's a historic site with woodland walks and the ruins of Basingwerk Abbey.
The property has parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets allowed.
