Pheasants Fields
Pheasants Fields is in Lloc, a village in Flintshire. It's a detached house with a good bit of land around it and views over fields.
It sleeps ten. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms, so it's solid for a big family or two smaller ones. It's got a 5 Star rating, which basically means it's well-equipped and finished to a good standard. Everything works.
It's a modern build done up to look traditional. There are beams and a wood burner. The kitchen is new. There's a music system that plays through the house and outside, and a hot tub in the garden. All the bedrooms have smart TVs.
The ground floor is accessible for a wheelchair. There's a wet room down there too. Parking is on site.
The local shop is a mile away. The nearest pub is two miles, a restaurant is three. The coast is about four miles. Talacre Beach with the dunes is there, and the resorts at Prestatyn and Rhyl are a 15 minute drive.
You're close to the border. Chester is half an hour for shopping and the races. Liverpool is 45 minutes. For a day out, Chester Zoo and the Blue Planet Aquarium are within half an hour. Conwy Castle and Llandudno are also about 30 minutes away.
Just up the road in Holywell, about three miles, there's Greenfield Valley Heritage Park. It has St Winefride's Well, the old abbey ruins, and walking paths.
There's a woodland walk right next to the property. For golf, riding, or fishing, that's all available locally. If you want the mountains, Snowdonia is about an hour's drive.
