Pant Glas Mawr Axton
This is Pant Glas Mawr, near Axton in Flintshire. It’s on our farm, about 20 acres with sheep and some horses. The cottage is attached to our house but you've got your own front door and a private garden. It’s all on one level.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It’s a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. The garden looks out over fields. It’s quiet.
You can walk into the village of Llanasa in about ten minutes. There's a pub there. The beach at Talacre is about a quarter of an hour's drive. Rhyl and Prestatyn are also that sort of distance if you want a proper seaside day.
You’re right on the edge of the Clwydian Range. There’s good walking from the door, including Offa’s Dyke Path. Cyclists and horse riders are well catered for round here. If you’ve got your own horse, we can do livery on site.
A bit further out, within half an hour or so, you've got Holywell for shops. Chester is about 40 minutes' drive if you want a city day, they’ve got the zoo and the Blue Planet Aquarium. The North Wales coast, like Colwyn Bay, is easily reached.
For facilities, there’s a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. No pets, I’m afraid.
