The Coach House is on our farm in Marian, just off the A55. It's a stone building that was the old bakehouse and dairy. It's about four hundred years old, so the walls are thick and the windows are deep. It's detached, so it's just you out here.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean. You get everything you need: bedding, towels, washing machine, WiFi. Both bedrooms have a hair dryer. There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights. We can put up a cot and highchair if you need them.
You have your own lawned garden with a patio, a barbecue, and a hot tub. There's some play equipment for kids on the grass. You can park right outside.
The view from the back looks straight over the Clwydian Range. It's all hills and fields. You're welcome to walk around the farm lanes. If you're interested, I can show you around the farm buildings, maybe see some milking, depending on the time of year. Just ask when you're here.
It's a quiet spot. The nearest shop is half a mile, a pub and restaurant are about a mile away.
For getting out, you're well placed. The coast around Prestatyn is about a twenty minute drive for beaches. Into the Clwydians for walking is about fifteen minutes. Chirk Castle is close. For a bigger day out, Snowdonia is under an hour's drive. Anglesey is about forty minutes, and you can get the ferry from Holyhead if you fancied a trip to Ireland.
We allow one well-behaved dog. The garden is enclosed, but it's not escape-proof, so you'd need to keep an eye on them.
