The Coach House is on our farm in Marian. It's about five minutes off the A55. It's a stone building, was the old bake house and coach house for the main farmhouse. It's around 400 years old, so the walls are thick and some of the doors are a bit low.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. There's a wood burner in the living room, and we leave you some logs to get started. All the bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
The garden is yours to use. It's quite large and lawned. There's a hot tub out there, and some play stuff for kids. The view from the garden is towards the Clwydian Range. It's good.
Because it's a working farm, we're often about. If you're interested, just ask and I can show you around the yard. We can sometimes show people how to milk, if we're doing it at the right time.
There's a local shop about half a mile away. The nearest pub, the Dinorben Arms, is about a mile. They do food.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the Clwydian Range. The National Trust has Chirk Castle a short drive away. Snowdonia is about a 40 minute drive if you want bigger mountains. The coast at Prestatyn is maybe 20 minutes. For a day out, you can get to Anglesey in under an hour and get the ferry to Ireland if you fancied it.
Things here: parking right outside, wifi, TV, washing machine, cot and highchair if needed, and a BBQ.
